Just wondering if there's an up and down on OME springs, or if they can go in either way. And if there is an up and down side, how do I tell which is which?

I notice there is some writing on the springs, going off that I could put them in so the writing is readable when installed, but I don't want to assume anything.

There is only one option for one pair of springs as to which end is up.

Fronts are obvious, they only go in one way and won't fit the other way, because the bottom is wider to fit on the spring mount. Interesting thing, the writing is printed upside down on the front springs when they're installed. So that makes me wonder about the rears.

The rears seem more or less symmetrical and will go in either way. Is there a way to tell which way is up on the rears?

Refer to post #2. Then ask yourself how the spring knows which end is up. 😉

I'm putting them in with the writing upside down, so they match the fronts.

There's a joke in here about reading the springs after flipping the jeep but I'm too tired to make it.
