I'm doing a frame swap. While doing that I plan to replace my torque boxes. From what I can see, the current ones are only rusted on the body mounts. Again, never know what lurks jnside. I already have new front floor pans welded in from about a year ago.

So considering cost effectiveness of the parts and hourly labor costs.

Tub will be off.

So fully cut out the existing and have full new ones put in?
Or
Just buy full length safe t caps to go over the existing ones?

Thanks

I have a set of these. Bought them thinking I would use them, but replaced the tub, instead. If you decide to go this route, I can make you a deal that would be hard to refuse. Just throwing it out there. No matter what direction you go with your repair, I wish you the best with it. Be sure to post pics as you go along!

Thanks, but I need full length for all the body mounts.

now im leaning to just the full length safe t caps. Seems much simpler and less labor hours and easier placement and lining up, Im just not sure what negatives im missing in going that route.
