New to me 06 TJ needs soft top

Wide range of price options. From 299 to the moon. I want a good top that balances cost and quality. It has the original factory black diamonds on it. Recommendations welcome. Sail cloth? Black diamond? Do I need the entire kit or just the top reusing frame? Do I need a frame as I see frameless options. Live in Ohio. Will not be my daily driver especially when wet or salty out. What are some good options? Also do they tend to go on sale over holidays etc? I’m not in a super rush. Thank you for noob guidance. 06 TJ Sport.

You can get a Replace A Top that reuses the OEM frame.

Does yours have the Sunrider option? If so, they don't sell a RAT for it.

I prefer frames. I think the frameless ones are awful personally.

But in the sunrider is only the frame that’s different correct? The cloth is same I think, I am looking for one and mine is sunrider . As what I have investigate the cloth is the same is the frame that changes and folds

No, it's not. Bestop said you had to buy a whole new top, frame and all for the Sunrider. Now they don't even offer it.

But you can contact Bestop and ask them.

I've started using chat with vendors, and it generally seems to work better than email. The old telephono still seems to work best.

I’m gonna be this guy on a soft top,my shittybuilt 299.00 3 smoked rear windows,came with half door uppers,haven’t had a bit of a problem in 5 years.been all over the country,fits stock frame,and it gets taken off here when it’s hot ,and put back on every October.

I went with a Sierra Offroad trilogy material top over 3 years ago and would never buy Bestop again, unless they start making them in the US again (and lower their prices). My top is still quieter than my Bestop.
