Decided to add foglights. I checked my build sheet, and it originally had them from the factory, some p.o. must've deleted them. Was originally going to add some old school halogen lights, which I have some nice ones from 30years ago. But...... I had recently checked Amazon Black Friday sales, so that the route traveled.

Just for fun, check your pattern. Per the FSM, they should point straight ahead, and 4" down at 25 feet.

It sounds like you're describing yellow driving lights, not fog lights (regardless of what the manufacturer called them).

In any case, if that's what you were looking for, great!

No, they are fog lights....... very low & wide flat beam with flat aim point below the low beams. I have a nice pair of Halogen driving lamps that Im thinking of putting on that are focused long distance that over drive the high beams. The driving lamps have Sylvania Silverstar H3 bulbs so they are pretty bright.

Are you thinking about putting the driving lights further inboard and leaving the fogs on as well? So 4 lights total plus the two headlights?
I recently moved my driving lights inboard, I made up some mounting brackets that bolt in under the tow hooks. I think they look good there and I have 2 more floods that I will bolt on to the outer locations when I go to Mexico so I can use them for side shooters when driving on the beach at night.
I used plug in splitters so all I have to do to add the outside ones is pop in a single bolt and plug them in. I also increased the wire size for the extra wattage.

Yes, will install driving lights will be in board of the fog lights. I will wire them to a relay that will be switched on by a switch and fed by hi beams circuit on. The load feed to the relay will be direct to the battery.

I went for a short drive after dark, and they were AWESOME!!!! What an improvement over normal low beams!!!

Still running the stock low beams? If so, grab a set of the Toyo/Koito H4's. You'll be super happy. Best bargain in light upgrades.. $20 for everything.

Lemme know how you decide to mount them. The tubular cross member is right underneath the bumper. I didn't want to mess with that so I made up 2 plates with 2 holes on one end to fit under the tow hooks and a stud on the other end to bolt the light bracket to. I'm sure there's other ways but this way I didn't have to make any non-factory holes and it's 100% reversible.
