Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ radiator

New guy from Oklahoma

My daily ride is my first love - motorcycles. A BMW R1250 GS Adventure. But the last time I took it on Ophir Pass, I realized just how much more I need to learn about riding motorcycles on babyheads 🤦🏽‍♂️. After dropping it 5-6 times, I said I was done with riding a 650+ lb motorcycle on trails. Trying to pick up that beast at 11-12,000' altitude gets old. Hence my return to Jeeps 😁

My first time around that area was also on 2 wheels, but it was a drz400sm so I only had half the weight to deal with.

Welcome to the forum from WNC. Good luck with your purchase. I’m also looking to get back into the jeep community soon and looking for a TJ or maybe a LJ.

Thank you. Expected to wrap up the purchase later this month. Already making a list of stuff that needs fixed - front pinion seal, valve cover gasket, CCV/PCV grommet and elbow, OPDA and Crankshaft/Camshaft sensor among other things. You have some nice scenic areas there to drive around. Hope you find one you like!

Nice, make sure you throw some pictures up when you get it. One of the best things about the era of jeep your getting is the simplicity of them and how easy they are to wrench on. Yeah we are blessed when it comes to the scenery/mountains in WNC.

I certainly will. And that's what I love about the YJ/TJ Wranglers is that they were relatively simple to work on.

Absolutely. Been there a few times on my motorcycle. Hopefully I'll be back there soon with the TJ 😁
