My oil pressure gauge was reading low at idle, so low the check gauges light was coming on.
Last winter my grandson bought a used snowmobile that after a few miles the check engine light would come on. Reading on the internet, the fix was to apply dielectric grease to the fuel injector connectors. Problem solved.
So, I thought, before I go out and buy a new sending unit I'd try dielectric grease on my sending unit connector. My oil pressure stays at just below 40 idleing on the gauge now.
