At random my turn signals, wipers and radio all went dead yesterday. The fuses to the wipers and turn lamps were blown but not the radio. So I replaced the fuses but still no power. I checked under the dash and can’t find a loose connection.

Any input would be appreciated! Also, the PO did some additional mystery wiring so that may or may not be a culprit.

Thanks in advance!

And I attached a couple of pics of the wiring under the dash if that helps.

I would first start by downloading the FSM and follow each of the wires to see if everything is as it should or something is broken along the way.

tight! Like a power wire found a grounding point (Shorted out) Agree with above⬆️. Try and get as much of the birds nest the OP left for you out of the system. That should either locate the problem or at least make it a whole lot easier to work on and fix.

I agree with all the above.

Get that rats next out of there and back to stock. My guess is that that should solve the issues, but if it doesn't, at least it's going to be a lot easier to diagnose without all that terrible mystery wiring.

First off, thanks to all who gave me advice. I downloaded the FSM which, I’m sure will come in handy in the future as well.

While tracking down and inspecting the wiring I located a few exposed wires (mostly mystery wires going to God knows what) and I insulated them. I didn’t locate any connections that appeared loose and after a random check, everything started working again.

My next major to do is to strip down the interior for surface rust touch ups and clean up. During that time I’ll have the dash broken down so I’ll revisit the situation again and try to clean up more of the PO’s mess.
