Hi everyone, I have a 2003 jeep tj and am installing a hella light bar with 4 500 lights on it. The installing part is easy but now that I need to do the wiring I am completely lost. Whoever installed and wired a light bar on theirs I would really appreciate the advise and info on relays, fuses and wiring in general.

This may be oversimplified, but here’s the deal
You want a switch to run battery power to a relay- the relay then connects the battery to the lights and they come on
I went to tractor supply and purchased their premade switch kit…. So that I could get their remote control so I can turn the lights on and off from a distance.. or use the cab switch.
Just don’t run anything from a battery through a switch directly to the lights or it will get too hot
