FWIW, I've been running a Novita LM470 turn signal flasher in my 2005 since 2021 (after doing a full LED conversion). The EP27 didn't work for me.

Oreillys has it for a little cheaper.

After installing the rear LED tail lights from BMB and converting the front turn signal and parking lights to LED; I had a buzzing in the turn signal relay/emergency flasher relay.
Tested all connections and receptacles and replaced with a new LM 470 LED relay which accomplished nothing.
One of the forum members suggested replacing the relay with an Off Road ONLY relay GCD-TJ0106 which I purchased from Amazon, but since then I have found a couple other sources for the relay.
All lights are LEDs; the turn signals and flashers work properly.

That’s interesting. The LM470 was the answer for my 2005 (with full LED conversion). Good to know there’s another potential option if it doesn’t work for folks.

This is the flasher we've been using in our 2004 LJ since 2014 , it's been working great .

I've tried ALL the flashers previously mentioned. Non-worked for me until I tried this one:

Did you rewire the side markers? You sure your turn signals all still work properly with the headlights turned on? It's well known that the side markers stop working properly when LEDs are installed into the front turn buckets.....separate issue from flash speed which is fixed by the flasher.

No I did not rewire the side markers.
Yes I am sure that the turn signals are working properly with the headlights turned on and off.
Now the emergency flashers also work properly (no more buzzing) with the headlights off and on...
I thoroughly troubleshot the problem by inspecting the MFS, harness connectors, replacing the relay twice, inspected the sockets and wiring for the front front and side markers and rechecked all connections for the BMB rear LED tail lights.
The new Off Road relay resolved the problem.

Yes, that was me!

BTW, another member asked me why it says "off-road only". I wanted to be a smartass and say because the moment you hit the pavement it stops working. Truth is it's a legal requirement because it's not DOT approved. Who cares. It works.

Our experience with the GCD relay which was supplied by Savvy with their tail lights has been less than stellar. Buzzing and continuing to flash after the turn signal is switched to cancel. We have never had that issue with the Novita flasher.

It would be odd if it or any were DOT approved since the DOT does not approve anything, ever.
