The following has me stumped
2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, bone stock, no electrical mods of any kind.
1.) without any pattern I can hear the turn signal ticking but no dash light is illuminated
2.) when driving and using the turn signals, when the brake is applied, the indicator light in the dash illuminates continuously and doesn’t flash. When the brake is released the light works as designed
3.) the issues described in #1 and #2 only occur occasionally, never to a pattern
4) I’ve checked all light lamps for function and no issues. When the headlights are on, the issues occur the same as when the headlights are off
5) The 4WD operates fine but no indicator light on the dash
No other issues so far. The vehicle lights work fine in all regards. Then for no identifiable cause, start malfunctioning.

Any experience with this problem? What do you think? I’ve checked all wiring, can’t find anything.
thank you

You have a bad bulb or a bad ground at one of the lights

Start with the ground wires screwed to the radiator support on either side of the radiator; check for loose or dirty connections,
Remove and inspect the bulbs and bulb sockets for rusty/grey oxidized bulb sockets/terminals for the front and rear turn signals.
If nothings is found; then move on to inspecting the Multifunction Switch, harness connectors and terminals for signs of overheating or oxidation.

I had weird light issues and discovered the ground lug to the tub under the pedal are was loose. Tightening the ground screw cured all the issues.
