New to Hp Tuners and have a 2003 Sahara 5-speed. I apologize if this has been posted before, but I tried searching and couldn't find an answer. I am looking to change when the Shift Light Indicator comes on in my jeep. Below is the screenshot of the settings. I would have thought this was RPM based but the Y-Axis says MAP. Id appreciate any guidance in this as it drives me nuts that the light comes on so early. I could turn it off, but would prefer to set it to something specific. Thanks in advance for this.

It always bugged me and I disabled it as soon as I got HP Tuners and downloaded and saved the base tune. As far as I've seen everyone else did this too.

So looking at it it is based on a somewhat narrow band of MAP which roughly correlates to throttle position, so at low load it is telling you that it's going to light the shift indicator at the specified RPM on the cell when the MAP is the value on the left with the first row indicating that it will never illuminate on idle or throttle shut. You can get a sense of these map values in your driving by logging a drive and looking at the spark advance graph to see the frequency of RPM and MAP reading.

So to move it up, I'd start by bumping each value up 200 rpm to keep a similar load based shift indication. And then tweak from there as it suits your preference.

Or just shift everything up to your preferred RPM like 3300 across the board until the final row. Different strategies, just depends on how you want it to signal.

** I live at high altitude so WOT for me is the 80 or 85kpa row and rarely up to the 90kpa row. It would be 105 at sea level.

Thanks man, after thinking about it a bit that's what I thought I would do, set them all to what id like except for 1st and last ones. Just got my tune from FRP so looking to get that loaded next week after I do the plugs, valve cover gasket, and some other work i need to do.
