How much should I sell my used aftermarket wheels / tires for?

I didn’t want to post in the general discussion forum so thought I’d ask here.

I’m going to 15” rims for my TJ so I’m looking to sell my used 17” wheels and tires?

The wheels are American Racing that the PO put on. I’ve had the Jeep for 13 years so they are at least that old. The tires are Falken Wildpeak’s that I bought in late 2020. They have maybe 20,000 miles on them but have only like 7 to 8/32 of tread left.

Any idea how much I should ask for all 5?

Thanks 🤘🏼

For comparison only:
I recently purchased a set of (5) factory take-offs from a 2020 JL. Tires were 285/75-17 BFG All-Terrain KO2's w/ about 20K miles on them.
I got the set for $500.

I then sold the mis-matched set of tires that came on our 2015 for $300.

If the wheels are in excellent shape, no damage/fading, etc. I'd say maybe start at $150 per wheel and tire combo. If not in excellent shape, best to post pics or adjust the price accordingly.

Since you mention buying the tires in 2020: If buying used tires, I always lookup the date code which will be somewhere on the tire. You can lookup how to translate that into how old they actually are. If they were sitting in a warehouse for years before you bought them, that will effect price. I believe the general recommendation is that most won't want them if they are 10 years old. If they are close, I wouldn't want them, or at least wouldn't pay much for them.

So my $150 per price assumes they were manufactured the same year you bought them. No patches, etc.
