I am working on a hoist setup for removing the hardtop on our TJ. I have built the frame from other threads on this site and I picked up a harbor freight 110v electric hoist to do the job of lifting the top.....I want it for other tasks as well, such as hoisting stuff to the loft in my garage. My thought is to install some Unistrut and get a trolly system for it. I would bolt a section of Unistrut to the wall for when hoisting the top, then slide it out when not in use and I can slide it into a section of Unistrut in the ceiling of garage to use when hoisting up to the loft.
My issue, is I don't have much experience with the Unistrut or the Trolley setups. Anyone see any issues? Anything I should look out for before I go ahead and order the stuff.
