Hi, I've been searching for used hardtop for my 01' Saraha near the NE Philly area.
So far, no luck at finding anything half decent , for the price their asking...
Everyone says 6 bolts are used to mount it to the body. I only see 4 bolt holes on my jeep?
Where are the other 2?
Not sure if this if this makes a difference. But my TJ orginally came with dual tops.
I bought it with it's orginal soft top. Orginally wanted a hardtop, but this one was nicest one I could find in my area, for what I had to spend on one. Probably paid too much for it. Daily driver, it's got 215,000 on it and never left me stranded.
Perhaps the motor was rebuilt at one time. But I know the trans was a recent rebuild.
I love my totally stock TJ except for the steering slop. I've replaced both upper and lower shafts. Lower one was really shot.
I belive my slop is in the tilt wheel linkage under the dash. It only gets 11MPG. And a hardtop will make it heavier.
Sorry, I went off on a tanget. But where are the other two holes, for the hardtop?

Thanks in advance.

Dave

For whatever reason, our hardtop's rear holes don't match the rear holes in the jeep. I was going to drill new holes, but realized 4 bolts holds it down just fine.

theres two holes right by the driver passenger seats next to the cage. I have an aftermarket cage so they are a little bit of PIA but managable
