For background, I have recently (in the past year or so) installed rebuilt Curry control arms upper/lower/front/rear, Currectlync steering, Curry Track bars, and a SwayLoc. The noise didn't start immediately after I installed any of these. It's been at least 6 months with all the above parts as a matter of fact with no noise.

I have developed a pop/clunk coming from what I'm almost certain is the front and probably the driver's side when I toss the Jeep hard to the right while on road. It's just one pop/clunk and is not repetitive or speed related. Doesn't do it when I saw the wheel back and forth while sitting still. Doesn't do it when I turn hard left. I can easily repeat it by swerving back and forth real hard while going like 5mph down the road.

I thought for sure it would be the typical loose track bar bolt thing. I didn't see any signs of any bolt being loose and sliding a bit at any and every joint I could think of, but I tightened everything and threw parts at it. BMB control arm washers and track bar bolt/flag nut. Still does it. I can't detect any play in the unit bearings when I jack the front end up and try wiggling the top/bottom of the tires. I'm kinda at a loss. Any suggestions?

Was that a rotational clunk with speed? I hadn't checked those I must admit. They are about 5 yr old chromoly axles but it's worth checking. Just grab'em and shake?

I have something very similar right now. I can feel mine in the steering wheel. I have been chasing it for months now. I have tightened every suspension related bolt and steering bolt, replaced my u joints and tie rod ends, all of the control arms, and rebuilt track bar bushings all to no avail. I did notice some play in my ball joints so maybe it could be bad ball joints? I am going to replace all four of mine soon. I would say check your u joints and ball joints.

to bump this thread:

I have a clunk coming from my drivers side front end. Only notice it at walking speeds, when I drop the driver side front wheel off a ledge/curb etc. Jeep has new stock control arms less than a year, less than 5 years old: zj steering, OME 2.(5) inch lift, bilstein shocks, teraflex sway bar disco's, spicer or moog ball joints, Pretty sure i even changes the U joint on that side. I cannot recreate noise rocking jeep back and forth, or turning steering wheel on ground. I have metalcloak track bar with heim joint that is less than a year old.
