I have a 2006 LJ and someone hit my front bumper in a Walmart parking lot and drove away so I can’t do anything to get the to pay for the fog light that they broke (the mounting bracket is perfectly fine) but I want to say with the OEM fog light but it is $250+ and the one for the 2006 liberty is $50+ they lights look the same but the mounting bracket is different in terms of mounting to the bumper so my question is can I get the liberty fog light and swap the mounting bracket and if I so is the plug for the light the same on the liberty as it is on the wrangler or would I have to swap that too?

Not sure that the fog light connectors are different or the same, but you might do a search online with a Jeep Liberty forum and post the question on what a fog light connector looks like.
