I’ve eventually gotten a new (to me) TJ. they had all the carpet pulled and I’m assuming painted the floor like this and left me the extra paint flakes or whatever you want to call them- which looks cool until it’s obnoxious after a while. So- how do i get this out? Pressure wash/sand blast? Or something else? And then after i get this removed, what should i cover the floor with? I don’t want to put carpet back in. Heat from the floor isn’t a concern. I want to protect from rust and be relatively easy to “clean”. This jeep will never be spotless so I’m not sweating some dirt being leftover

UGH! I’d want to get rid of that too. 😳😬
Maybe rough it up with a Scotch-Bright pad or some sandpaper, clean & prep it with some wax & grease remover & cover it with some bedliner. That way you would’nt have to deal with the mess of sand blasting or possible water damage from pressure washing.

I was thinking just clean it with some good degreaser and do a spray on bed liner. My TJ has raptor liner inside and I absolutely love it. Those flakes could aid in additional traction inside.

It never crossed my mind to use epoxy floor coating in the tub of my jeep. Looks like it can be done and would be a pain to remove. As recommended, a good scuff and cover.
