I'm possibly looking to get some parts sent to the UK, as they are not avilable over here. I have come across a company online called HQ Offroad. As the parts will be sent to a freight forwarder and then surface shipped to the UK there will be a long lead time between dispatch and me receiving them, plus the cost of returns makes that pretty much impossible. So dealing with a decent company is particularly important.

Any experiences with them any one is able to share?

Thanks in advance.

If you state the sort of things you are after people may be able to suggest suppliers.
Rockauto is very good for general parts. Different brands and shipping options are available and 5% off codes are easy to find.

I’ve had personal experience with them and it wasn’t good.

I kept getting the run around on a rear Antirock sway bar but I gave them a long time to process the order because I was able to get a good price with promo codes. Finally told them to cancel the order but still had to wait for that to clear. I was told that I would get a refund but still had to wait. Finally sent this last email and received a refund a day later.

“I called last week to cancel this order and was told that I should have the refund on my credit card in a few days. I don’t plan on waiting around for a month like I waited for y’all to process the order in the first place. If I don’t have the refund by next Tuesday I’m going to get my credit card company involved. This is beyond ridiculous.”

After trying to buy something from that guy, I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. Bait and switch on pricing and unresponsive to communication to name a couple of things.
