Recently my 2004 Rubi manual trans, developed what feels like an engine stumble when cold. When I start the engine the idle is fairly smooth but as soon as I put it in gear and start going, the engine starts cutting out and stumbling. It happens more under light throttle application in every gear. As the engine warms up it lessens but it takes 30-40 minutes of driving and a restart to settle down. Idle is fine although I did notice a bit of a steady rev oscillation a couple of times. Not stalling and no OBD codes other than my P0500 due to the speed sensor being disconnected. Also, not sure if related but my speakers cracle every 5-10 seconds when idling.

It's possible your battery is low and about to die. I've had similar odd running issues when one of my batteries was dying of old age. If the battery tests good, the alternator is the next suspect. Or possibly corroded grounds. Though speakers ground inside the tub and the engine grounds are outside, which would narrow candidtes to the battery to ground.
