DRL's and their 'auto-off' controllers

I've had the DRL's connected since I put the LED headlights in about 5-6 years ago. So far, they have worked flawlessly.
The setup that I have monitors the battery voltage and keeps the lights on momentarily after the IGN is switched off.
When the battery voltage drops below about 12.6, the lights shut off.
Typically, this delay off has lasted about 30 seconds or so.

After installing a new battery last week, the DRL's stay on for a significant amount of time, measured in minutes, not seconds.

With the DRL's still on, I popped the hood and measured the battery voltage; I saw 12.7 then it dropped to 12.6 and the lights went off.

While I'm not worried that the DRL's will drain my new battery, I don't like how long they remain on.

Is anyone familiar with an adjustable controller that might allow me to change the level at which they turn off?

If your kit has a separate battery sense wire (it probably does not) you could try a resistor in series to drop some voltage.
