This is a Tom Woods shaft for sale near me for what seems like a nice price of $150. I don't really know much about driveshafts, but having a Tom Woods was already in my build plan eventually.

My first questions are related to compatibility:
  • The ad says it has a 3330 u joint which I'm assuming is a typo and is actually 1330. Assuming that is the case would this shaft even work with my Dana 35 which has a 1310 u joint I believe?
  • I believe the 1330 u joint means it was mated with a Dana 44, does that make this a no go right off the bat due to differences in lengths from Dana 44 to 35? As well as the TC differences? The seller provides measurements in the ad.
Pictures for your entertainment.

U-joint in picture number 2 is bad.

For $150.00 more you will be close to a new Tom Wood’s driveshaft

Ya, I wouldn't buy a used driveshaft. They get worn out. U joints wear. Centering yoke wears. Slip joint wears. By the time you add it all up you get vibrations. It's not worth it. And that is assuming it hasn't been bent the slightest bit and then even all new parts won't make it work. Bent shaft isn't too crazy considering most people with a Tom Woods driveshaft probably offroad their Jeep. That one has so much rust you would need to sandblast it to get the tolerances right if you actually need to replace a ujoint.
