Hello I just got a 2000 sport that has a 4in Rouch country lift. I want to drop it down to about 2.5in. It has an SYE and an Adam’s Driveshaft in the rear. As well as all adjustable Rough country control arms. If I wanted to drop it do I need another driveshaft? Or can I just get shorter springs and shocks?

You might be ok. How much exposed spline do you have now? Pictures of the driveshaft might help.

There’s a picture of the rear driveshaft on the last picture. There’s maybe 6in of spline showing? I have to go back and measure it. Would I need to possibly change the front too?

That sounds promising.

You might want to call Adam's driveshaft and get their opinion.

Essentially now you need to lower it and measure the difference and see if you have enough travel before bottoming out the shaft and potentially exploding the transfer case.
