Dash Protection From Dog Nails

I painted my dash and door panels last year, and they look fantastic. The paint holds up to anything but my dog's nails. Is there a cheap dash and door panel I could use when my dog comes with me? It would need to be gripy or attached so it wouldn't get pulled off.

Maybe drape some blankets or towels over it. That or train your dog not to do that.

That is the only answer. Well, maybe some type of restraint to keep 'ol yeller off i.e. a net/divider or seat belt/leash restraint.

I mean that's the first thing that comes to my mind.

My red heeler is trained so well he would never do that, and if he did I'll I'd have to do is say, "place", point to the seat, and he'd sit and stay put.

A well trained dog makes a huge difference.
