I'm doing a re-gear on my arb lockers and the install kit came with 7/16 bolts the carrier is drilled for 3/8 ring gear is drilled for both. So I guess ill have to order the correct bolts. Am I able to use the old bolts to set-up the gears then change them out after? or will that cause some sort of issue I'm not thinking of?

You can use the old ring gear bolts. Most manufacturers will tell you to not re-use ring gear bolts but I know people that have. If you do that though, be sure to get every bit of loctite and gear oil off of them.

If you still end up going with new bolts, then switch them out a few at a time so the ring gear doesn't come loose.

Thanks for that. I have cleaned them all up and torqued up. I will see if the supplier can get the bolts if not ill run with it.
