Dana 35: need 5.13 gear pattern help

You have posted so many pictures it's hard to see what you think may be going on. I'm not sure if there were changes made ot not. Don't get hung up on whether the pattern should be centered on the tooth left to right. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

Some of your pics show what I would consider a runnable pattern, some show it is shallow, and some show it as deep. Your pic of the pinion head has a bright glare on it rendering it unreadable.

Do this.......take brakleen and remove all of the current marking compound as best you can. Then apply a very thin/light coat...only enough to turn it yellow. No need for gobs of the stuff. Only apply it to three teeth, at three different points. Hold pressure on the ring gear when cycling it through the pinion. Take three pics (not 12 lol), one of the drive side, one of the coast side, and one of the pinion.

I apologize for all the pictures. Here's the latest pattern. Good friends are hard to come by, but I have a great one. He sent this set of pictures tonight. We're trying to get ready for a planned trip with our spouses to Hidden Falls Off Road park. Backlash is sitting at .007 in. All that remains is the Dana 30. I think his pattern looks great! What do y'all think?

That's a hell of a lot better. I think you may still be only 1-2 thou deep. Most shops would run that pattern though.

This is the Dana 30 elocker. I need ideas on how to remove this carrier bearing and elocker assembly. I can't get under the bearing with my clam shell puller. Should I cut it off? This is an older elocker for 27 spline axle shafts. It has a tab bolted down under the bearing cap bolt. The tab rests in a notch on the locker to keep it from spinning. Maybe there's a snap ring or keeper under the bearing?

I don't think you'll be able to pull that bearing off without cutting it.
