CDC to end inbound USA Covid testing

This announcement is a welcome relief.
I now live in the central highlands of Mexico most of the year and have been required to provide a negative Covid test each time I have returned to the U.S. by air. The cost has been $25 USD and two hours of my life each time. It became such a hassle that I stopped flying internationally and have been flying domestically to Tijuana then walking across to the U.S. because a Covid test has never been required for land crossings.
The vacationers in my city about to return to the U.S. by air are celebrating the news that the CDC may be coming to its senses.
