So I had an OPDA failure this spring and looking at my camshaft the gears look pretty worn. Worn to the point I don't want to drive it out of fear of losing oil pressure So its time to replace my camshaft. Are there any good high quality recommendations? My first priority would be a camshaft with a harder finish on it so the gears last longer than the factory. My primary concern is getting a high quality camshaft.

An added bonus might be something that produces more power, but maintains reliability and driveability... if their is such a thing I'm open to discussion about upgrading to roller cams and other aftermarket options as well. I'm basically trying to figure out if this is a good opportunity to upgrade or just replace with whatever cam I find at RockAuto etc. Lets have some conversations about the best options to replace a camshaft on an otherwise stock motor.

Edit: Fixed spelling error.

Personally I'd call up Dex's Jeeps, or Davey's or Deep Jeeps and see if they have a much less worn original.

No direct experience with CompCams and the 4.0 but I've used them on other engines.
