So I replaced my old raggedy battery tray with a Motobilt battery tray. I researched that I can use a 13 K resistor as a dummy plug for the battery temp sensor which one/part do I need?Thanks
Read thru these forum posts from some years ago.
My ‘01 has the sensor inset into the tray along with the battery sleeve.
I notice the voltage charging rate is higher in cooler weather.
Hello guys, I believe this is a dumb question but I dont find wath I want in any other place.
I have a 2004 jeep Wrangler X, it was made on July 2004, so it has all the components of the 2005 ,for example the new intake and computer etc, I had some issues with the 42rle (I know, we all have) and the new computer shows the code P0517 which is a High voltage in the Battery temperature sensor, this was mindblowing because this is my first TJ and I wasnt aware these jeeps had it, but ok, I disconnected my battery in hope to see the sensor under the baterry plate thinking how I have never seen...
