Bartact front seat cover fitment install on 06

Has anyone run into fitment issues with Bartact Front seat covers on an 06? Specifically, the factory upholstery of the front seat backs, have a flap that extends 3-4 inches below the seat back to cover the gap between the seat top and bottom, and that flap also has a plastic flat sheet sewn into it to make it rigid, which gets in the way of wrapping the seat cover and Velcro. Before, I get a seam ripper and start taking that out of there, just was wondering if anyone else has run into this on their 06?

I had no such fitment issues on my '06 with OEM seats and the "tactical" covers. I don't know if the "base model" covers are different.

Same as above; no issues with tactical covers, 06 TJ and OEM seats.

same here as well. perfect fit on my 06. their quality may have gone down.
