This thread is to primarily document what i’ve done since picking up my ride this november.
northeast jeep 03 tj x
picked up 6k from a guy in NH. kept trying to talk me out of it. didn’t want to sell.
soft tops hard doors included. has some sort of lift maybe a skyjacker.
clean frame no real rust! oil sprayed yearly.
drove horrible on the way back but no death wobble!
neighbor had a clapped out 03 he gave me. swapped out the rubicon wheels instead of the horrible mickey thompsons the green one came with. took the hardtop harness, tank, fuses and cold air intake before i sent it to the scrap yard.
rebuilt the front end

not pictured: tie rod inner outer, steering tie rods and alignment.
cleaned up and patched a few holes in the floor pans with some spare sheet metal i cut out. molded and jb welded the patches over the pinholes and missing drain plug covers
exhaust had a hole. took my flomaster 40 off my old wj and put a cherry bomb resonator in
replaced all the speakers and added a bigger sub and hideaway amp in the factory console
also not pictured:
reverse light sensor
homemade floor mats and carpets
blower motor resistor
rear sway bar links.
also has anyone had a problem fixing your 3rd brake light? bulb is good cleaned the terminals and still nothing.
