2001 TJ Build, Looking for Advice

Guys thanks for the encouragement! I feel like every single day is the night before Christmas as a 10 year old except that I have to wait 12 more weeks!! JMT, the advice is appreciated at all times.

Forgot to mention in the post about the wheels the reason that I'm thinking about it so much is because I cracked a stock AL wheel doing some pretty light off road driving a few years ago and would like to avoid that situation in the future.

Once assembly begins I will post pictures. Will also be doing rust mitigation surgery on the front end of the frame.
Hell of a build! Doing it right all at once is the way to go.

Where in NOVA are you? I spent some time growing up there in Centreville. Traffic still insane? Haven't been back since I took my mom to see a Caps Stanley Cup game a few year ago.

I go to Centreville occasionally, at least pre covid, to hit this awesome korean bbq place called Soh. Which game was it? I was at game 4. I currently live in Springfield, VA.
Yeah, it was game 4. Knights got whacked. My fam escaped the crazy NOVA property taxes awhile back & relocated in NC. I flew in there & drove my mom up to see the game.

Oh yeah? I went to Stone middle school & Centreville HS. Maybe we beat each other up on the playground or raced cars in the parking lot at some point.

The moment of truth is nearly here, my axles, suspension and steering components shipped last week and I have a lift reserved starting 5/28!!

All of my metalcloak components are in and I have begun installing them. So far I have the rear conrner guards and fenders on. Today I removed my trailer hitch/rear bumper, sanded off any rust and painted. I will have the new bumper on this week! So far I love the rear fenders, they feel sturdy as hell and the finish is really nice. The corner guards were a little bit tricky to install, one had a perfect radius and went right on The other had a little bit of a tighter radius than my tub bent into it and it took some serious clamping to get it into place. Mounted and bolted it still has about a 1mm gap right in the corner.

The only changes to my original order are that the Exogate does not work with the metalcloak corner guards so I ended up ordering the metalcloak tire carrier intended to work with the corner guards. Looks like a really nice piece of kit, but a lot more than I wanted to spend. The other change is that ECGS was unable to source Bilstein shocks so I switched to the Fox shocks and stabilizer.

I ordered and have received the Bf Goodrich KM3s and they look really nice.
