Hello,
I have a 1998 Jeep tTJ 4.0 automatic and I have started to have an engine code P0622 come on randomly. I have cleaned the terminals as best as I can on the alternator itself and the gauge is reading that I am charging to 14v as well as me testing it with a multi meter I am getting 14.2v on the battery. I am wondering before taking out the alternator is there a way to test it to make sure its bad? I do have a OBD reader but wonder what I am looking for on the live read to determine if its bad or not. It worries me that its not the alternator since I am charging at 14v. Any and all help and guidance is very much appreciated!
Thanks!
