Lift measures as a 4” in lift. Wanting to see where I am starting from and if it’s worth it to build from here or stop and get this right before changing wheels / tires.
I would like to get the tires more underneath the jeep but if the suspension is off or a budget one, I don’t want to start building on it and have a weak spot.
I Could get away with 33”/ a tuck / lower lift (3”-3.5) for anything I would ever need/do.

Thanks in advance, responses may be spotty over the next few days. Looking forward to what the experts have to say.

Tracks true but could be smoother overall and after hitting bumps it’s a little bouncy. I mean it’s a Jeep and my 4th one. Never had one smooth but let’s be honest that’s not what it’s made for.

Looks to me like Rough country lower control arms and steering with a fancy Fox stabilizer. Rear uppers look like Rubicon Express adjustable arms and front looks like stock upper arms.

I feel like the under side of the chassis received a coat of black paint at once time.

Thank You, underside did have a coat a few years ago but I got in everything prior to purchase to make sure it was solid (frame), to have a good starting point.

Looks like a couple of the tie rod ends are shot and have more grease outside than inside the boots. You might want a better/stronger tie rod, drag link, and steering setup. I'd start over with a 3" SL, 1.25" BL, 1" MML, and lose the large tcase drop (for 33s).
p.s. Your pinion seals and diffs look very clean, but your rotors look crusty.

Thanks, agreed steering components need love, and eyeing the big brake kits if I were to stay with 35”.
33” are probably more realistic and will fit my needs.

Don’t mind putting in the money/work as this is one is a keeper. Unless an impact orange LJ comes on the market lol.

Thank you for the reply.
