    P0218 and P0714 codes

    So i have a 2006 X with an auto. On the way to work this morning the check engine light came took it to my local parts store to have the codes checked. This is what it showed. Gas cap loose.( not worried about this one.) P0218 high temperature operation activated P0714 transmission temperature...

    Transmission cooler and crawling

    Before I install a basic tranny cooler , i just have 1 question. Will i see lower temps at low speed offroading. I just can't see it myself. I really don't want the high dollar unit that you mount under the vehicle with fan.
