spring seats

Hello everyone! I got a 2001 Sport 4.0 and while installing a lift kit including 2in BDS coil springs. I noticed the jounce cup (lip) catches on the inner part of coil spring between mid cycle and full droop. What could be causing this problem and how can i fix it? I don't have adjustable...

Purchased a new (to me) rear dana 44 and it has these spring pads and bump stops on it. I havent come across these before, has anyone else? Who makes them?
