Anybody up for a random meme dump?

Come to think of it, I never did have an AOL address, but I did have a Compuserve address. I think that's worth two AOL addresses.

Anybody up for a random meme dump?

I preached at a church in SF a few years back, spent the weekend there. I walked clear across Haights-Asbury on a free afternoon. I think that place had more demon possessed people per square mile than any place I've ever been.

Should I install missing catalytic converters?

Thanks. I was told that they were removed, but that well may be the case. I see if changing the O2 sensor or sensors is worth the bother. As the engine is running fine, it's probalby not worth the cost and effort, though.

Should I install missing catalytic converters?

It's a miracle!!!!! Thanks for all the feedback. I have often heard that lacking cats could cause back-pressure issues that can cause problems. But sounds like we're good - all of us.

Should I install missing catalytic converters?

Remember back when the dash lights were accessible from underneath and you could just reach up behind the dash and pull them out to replace them? I had a weenie riding with me once in my old GMC pickup. I had just done a brake job and there was a tiny bubble in one line, so the brake light was...

Should I install missing catalytic converters?

I live in NW Mexico. Commented in my OP that it is not legally required here, at least there are no mechanisms in place to check it.

Should I install missing catalytic converters?

When I bought my 2006 TJ last year, I didn't realize that it was missing two of the three catalytic converters. I'm pretty sure it's the two pre-cats that are missing. I'm running 31x10.5/15s with a 4.0l engine coupled to an automatic transmission. My fuel consumption is decent. I don't...

What did you do to your TJ today?

My mother ran over a 'gator once, driving home to the village of Pierre Part in South Louisiana. She told one of her neighbors about it and said, "I guess that makes me a real Cajun now." The neighbor asked, "Did you put it in your trunk and take it home to make meat?" Mama said, "No." "Den...

Where can I find Jeep parts in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico?

Did you ever find a good source for parts? I am in Sonora and Jeeps are everywhere. Not surprisingly, the used care lots are overrun with the four-door models. Seems nobody wants to keep them. Getting parts here does not seem to be an issue. If you still have not found a solution, I'd...

Considering an older XJ. (Maybe ZJ.) Any advice?

Definitely will not be an on-road driver. See my last post before this one. I need something that will take abuse. Comfort is secondary at the most, maybe tertiary. ETA: Actually, comfort and style are way down the list. I need: 1) dependability, and 2) power, and 3) cargo capacity, the last...

Considering an older XJ. (Maybe ZJ.) Any advice?

I appreciate your feedback. In reply to your comments and questions: 1. DD or toy? Actually, kind of neither and both. I do Christian missions work in remote mountain villages in Mexico. The roads I drive are sometimes very rough, and there is one alternate road that I need to check out that...

Considering an older XJ. (Maybe ZJ.) Any advice?

Still looking at XJs. Figured I might do better after the New Year as folks will be recovering from Christmas overspending and may be more desperate to sell. Also, It's better for me tax wise to wait. I came across this one. It's been listed for a while but the guy says nobody has gone to see...
