    2004 LJ In Flux

Love the battery support into the tub with the outer fender while keeping the battery up right unlike the genrights. A lot of good little design here I bet I don’t even notice.

What is wrong with all my thermostats?

Last time I went to a dealership for a part they literally laughed in my face and said we don’t have a single part of those jeeps anymore.

What is wrong with all my thermostats?

Nope. Atleast not short enough it’s never gotten up to temp. Always at least 15min drives and often longer.

    2004 LJ In Flux

Ya I’d want mini boat sides for a tj with the square rub rail, corner armor for a tj but no bolts on the inside of the tire opening since I’ve cut out my opening and don’t know if they would fit, the tub rub rail, your highlines with the removable flare front and back, valance with the pods cut...

I like the square. Do you still make the mini boat sides?

    The Silver Fox LJ Build

I planned on cutting the rear to match the front to what ever I end up getting. If the front fender and rear flare is straight angles I would match it to be straight or if it was curved I would leave it the stock curved radius to match.

Would adding a ss rub rail (just like the old savvy rear corners) from the tub and along the fender under the removable flare be something better than the metalcloak rub tube flare? Add strength that ties in to more than just the fender lip for the flare to hold on too as well as gives it a...

    2004 LJ In Flux

Ya I have flares for legal reasons and for that reason alone. The only other fender I’m considering are the genrights. Obviously the rear flares can be removed but the fronts can’t be. The fronts are more conformed to the hood line than flux’s especially in the front which is where I’ve hit my...

Do you plan on making a matching rear flare to match to removable front?

    2004 LJ In Flux

I’ve pushed off all my fender and flux purchases and it looks like the next purchase for me is going to be just about everything from flux but the front bumper and hinges lol.

    Is an engine swap inevitable?

Not enough. I just figured they had less support. I do like the idea of a little diesel since I’ve loved my little 4cyl getting 17-22 mpg but I’m not familiar with diesel at all and at the point of having it be a fun toy I won’t really care about the mpg.

    Is an engine swap inevitable?

So how different would all the LS motors be in support? I know most Ls and Lt motors are basically the same but the Ls 1 is 97-03 and ls3 are 08-13 so would there be a difference to one over the other based on support alone?

    Is an engine swap inevitable?

Ya my point of the 4.0 was more so if somehow the cost was much less than an Ls making it worth while when I’m not super worried about cost. I agree I love my jeep bc despite it being a 4cyl only the frame and part of the tub is left since I bought it so lots of fun building even when it’s seen...

    Is an engine swap inevitable?

Kinda glad to hear that it’s still not super common for 4.0 stuff bc I like the idea of an Ls more anyways just worried by the end of it I don’t even have any part of my original jeep. Yes the thought of my name has popped in my head and I still don’t know what I’ll do but I’ll see when I get...

    Is an engine swap inevitable?

Currently it’s my daily so I’m limping it along as best as I can. But here in 1-2 years it will not be. Then it’ll be toy and will prob keep it as the 2.5 till something stops me from keeping it as such so I’m just trying to plan ahead so I can be ready for that time and not just be disappointed...

    Is an engine swap inevitable?

Curious if I’m crazy to think this. I have the 2.5L so I know the 4.0 guys are in a different situation. For the 2.5 I have seen a huge drop in support. Went from having many options to pick up parts at any store 10 years ago to now having only 1-2 options shipped only. My fear is the parts for...

    Torque box mud flaps?

When I re welded in new torque boxes I did put sealer around the edges and I’ve kept up on paint and fluid film but if I could prevent how much salt water even gets in I would prefer that. The flaps would be not plugging the opening but more just just putting a wall infront of them to block to...

    Torque box mud flaps?

I drive my jeep every day. I have to. Even in the winter. One day I’ll have a house where I can park it and own a daily but for now it is the daily and has to be. So my concern is how to keep the jeep as clean as possible. I have already re done the torque boxes and cut out the frame where the...

    Highline fenders

All of them. Placf too. Anything that you would initially think of being a metal thing I wouldn’t even try to print something for it. If you’re thinking of an injection molded plastic for something you might get away with a printed part given a little more reinforcement and the proper printed...

    Highline fenders

I have 3 buddys that have the nicest bamboo printers and even sell a lot of prints. Almost always do I ask for the same print with a quantity of 3 or 4 bc it always breaks. Rc car stuff, gun stuff, car stuff, around the house stuff. The only thing that hasn’t broken is an insert for my center...
