Saw an ad that said 2006 with factory installed Banks turbo. Was this ever a thing, or even a dealer option?

I'll be in the San Diego / San Francisco area for a day or two. I could (possibly) haul something back east if needed. No trailer, just an SUV. Heading to St. Louis, but I haven't picked a route yet.

Never pulled one out. Worse case, you might have to drill out any remaining pieces. Also, PB Blaster is not a very good penetrant.

Something my OCD noticed with this bulb. Because the LEDs only point front and back, there is less light going to the N on the gear selector. It's slightly dimmer than the rest of the selections. Out of curiosity, I'll probably try this one too...

Did you put LEDs in your pod gauges? If so, do you remember which one?

I put natural white in the ac control. A little brighter (and bluer) than stock, but not overwhelming. It actually matches my aftermarket stereo. I also put a natural white in the gear selector, but its a little too bright for me. I'm going to try a warm white. Wasn't looking for a different...

Pretty much. I noticed a wire color and a pin number difference.

I don't know if it's a mistake, but why doesn't the 2006 fsm show the Blower Resistor wiring like the 2005? It's completely different and doesn't match what i have on my jeep.

Maybe because mine's '06, but that's not the right bearing. That one is 55mm, 35mm, 20mm. Mine is 52, 30, 22.

Better question. Can I pull the clutch off without removing the compressor? Haven't really looked at it yet.

I recently dunked the front of my jeep in some deep water. Headlights had water in them and I had to remove the lights to get it out. Any reason why I shouldn't drill a hole in the bottom (back side) so it can drain on its own?

Anyone try replacing the pulley bearing on an AC compressor? Mines making noise, gets a little quieter when engaged.

I move the spare from the tailgate to the bed floor only when doing harder trails. Although. it wasn't an option on the Rubicon due to the extra camping gear needed. I hardly ever run with the back seat anymore, so I'm looking for a better rear storage solution.

This allows the rope to stay secured to whatever it's connected to, even if the thimble fails.

That type of 'safety' thimble adds a connection point making it less than ideal.
