Easiest is probably to buy a standard Warn remote PN 83665 and receptacle PN 16296. Yes the remote is five pin and the receptacle is three pin but they work just fine together.

That Ramsey has a permanent magnet motor. Uses controls more like an ATV winch. Problem is finding one that can handle the amp draw of that motor. Warn makes some for their industrial line but they are quite expensive.

Yeah that’s a pretty recent thing. Cost cutting measure is my guess. Will bet that there will be some slop there. My only question is it enough to alter the mesh between it and the driven gear in the box.

Those wireless units do not switch the ground circuit like the Warn one does. To make it work you have to just direct ground the solenoids. Warn will advise you that is defeating a safety measure so just be aware of that if you do it. They wanted redundant switching for safety and it does...
