    NSG370 Transmission Noise

Noticed a new noise on the jeep last wheeling trip. The 30 second analysis seems to be something in transmission though for now all seems to be shifting and working just fine. It’s an 2006 Jeep TJ Rubicon with 6 spd NSG370 transmission. It’s most prominent when clutch is not pressed at idle...

Chromoly axle shafts: Carbon Off-road vs regular chromoly kits

In the market to upgrade to chromoly shaft on front Rubicon 44. Front axle seal leaking so figure while fixing that throwing in new shafts makes sense. Carbon off-road seem nice plug and play, warranty, etc. They worth the extra coin versus the other 4340 stuff?

    Teraflex Steering Question

Jeep is almost done with work I had planned. Steering leaves something to be desired. Got the Teraflex in but not happy with steering I’d say there is almost gaps in the steering no where near as reactive to movement of steering wheel as before. I know the flavor here is Currie lync but this...

    Back in a Jeep

Took close to 18 years but back in a Jeep. Owned a 2000 TJ sport on 35’s long ago and regretted ever selling. Life, work, kids and 18 years later finally back in the seat. Feels alot smaller then I remember or that maybe just me. Lots of plans, no timetable. PO did a lot of work and...
