Yeah anything over $1000 (New Zealand dollars) they will sting you for import duty, and then you have the exchange rate 😞 it can get quite expensive bringing something in from America. You have to be 100% sure you have bought the right item otherwise it’s a very expensive mistake.

Pass I don’t know… all I was told was the heater core is stuffed and you need a new one. When I went back to pick up the Jeep and to speak to the mechanic to get more info from him he had already left for the day.. I’m gonna have to go and see him tomorrow morning

Just got back from the Aircon mechanic and they diagnosed the problem as that old Jeep TJ favourite… the heater core!!! 😞 I had a gut feeling it might be. I think I’m gonna have some fun finding a replacement down here ….i guess I’m buying one Stateside but need RHD. Let the games begin 😬

Haha…the taps have two valves… one for the sink and one for the washing machine.

Cuz Im a REALLY dirty lil Hobbit... haha. Over here he have a sink next to the washing machine to drain its waste water.... Sink on the right, washing machine with the lid on top, and the dryer on wheels so I can vent the warmer air out the back door.

Decided to lay out my new Bestop roof in the garage… as the Jeep is getting worked on. Really pleased to see no Bestop tramp stamp…🥳 Now if I can just time it right and get a day off when the sun is out I can get this thing fitted.

Thanks… dropped off the Jeep and then had to bike home before I start work… Hopefully they find the leak in the A/C and can re-gas it with no problems…. Or it could get a bit pricey

Spring is here and summer is just around the corner so time to get my air-conditioning sorted..
