Vehicles you don't see on the road anymore

Love F1's as well. Come to think, I like a lot of cars. :)

Vehicles you don't see on the road anymore

My 5 speed '93 SHO was a pretty good sleeper car.

Vehicles you don't see on the road anymore

The Super Coupe and Turbo Coupe were both pretty sweet rides. I also have a soft spot in my heart for first and second gen SHO's.

Vehicles you don't see on the road anymore

One of my best friends built this Bronco in the 90's. It was sold in '96. Ironically I saw it cruising around in 2021. Unfortunately the new owner doesn't take care of it the way my buddy did.

Vehicles you don't see on the road anymore

Drug it home and it hasn't seen the road but a few time since :).

    Does your driveway count?

Teal was a great Ford color!

    The Red Dragon Build

That was my initial intent and I believe it was about an 1" difference. I remember the upward movement of the trackbar was going to hit the arch of the bracket much sooner, but I can't remember if it also conflicted with my steering or truss. I was getting ready to trim the arch of the brace...

    The Red Dragon Build

Thank you! Happy to help with anything I can. To clarify your question, flipped with the "bump" on the inside of the frame? Like this?

    The Red Dragon Build

At some point everything was blown back off the Jeep and either painted (VHT Roll Bar and Chassis satin black) or sent off to powder coat. Looking at my remaining pictures I noticed the closer I got to my June deadline, the fewer pictures there were. I was obviously feeling the time crunch...

    The Red Dragon Build

Due to the addition of the Savvy four link in the rear, I needed to change the current exhaust setup. My initial plan was the reuse the Pypes muffler from my first build. It was immediately apparent the muffler would be too large to work well. My criteria was something that was not overly...

    The Red Dragon Build

The front tires were bolted on and the suspension cycled. The GenRight Hi-Fenders and forward stretch created ample space for the 37's I was going to run.

    2.5” Exhaust Clearance

I was able to clear my 2.5" Pypes TJ tailpipe when my rear suspension was in a short arm configuration with a RockJock trackbar and rear outboard shocks. I messed with the hanger shape and made my attachment to the muffler with a turbo flange connector. As far as routing, it cleared everything...

Thank you! Hopefully it can help someone wanting to take on similar brain damage.:)

    The Red Dragon Build

The next thing to figure out was the Antirock axle attachment brackets and my PSC ram mount. I fabbed a passenger side Antirock bracket from 1/4" plate to sit on top of the trackbar bracket. A second bracket was fabbed for the driver side Antirock attachment to the axle. This one was first...

    The Red Dragon Build

After fitting the new bumps and cycling the suspension, I determined that I would extend the lower bump pad (on the axle) higher so the FOX bump stop would extend less from the DOM center post. This would ultimately help the potential of the coil spring hitting the Fox bump when the axle was at...

    The Red Dragon Build

I stumbled into a great deal on a NIB set of 983-02-170 Fox 2.0 bumps, I was this far, what the hell. I figured the addition of hydraulic bumps allowed me to fine tune my up travel limits and full bump. I cut the factory bump center post with a hole saw that would fit the OD of the new...

    The Red Dragon Build

The mounts were tacked onto the axle. The suspension was cycled again.

    The Red Dragon Build

The first set of lower mounts I fabbed up... I was going to trim them to fit under the lower coil perch and box them in. It became apparent once the mount moved closer to the perch, the shock hardware would be difficult to access. They ultimately went in the scrap pile. My second and final...

    The Red Dragon Build

The front frame side shock mounts were cut off around the same time and I began figuring out the Poly Performance mounts and their location. A bunch of cycling and moving of the upper mounts was end result. I also went through several iterations of lower mounts to get their location where I...
