Only comment I have is are doing lots of short trips? For whatever reason in multiple vehicles Ive owned over the years, short trips with what probably was not 100% warmed up, the thermo failed/stuck open. Didnt matter what make, new or old it happened.

Im no expert on electrics but maybe a bad alternator diode ?? Somebody here will surely have some more ideas.

Make sure to check where the belly pan mounts to the frame. Thats a notoriously bad spot for rust and the inserts pulling out or coming loose.

Sure its not wind noise from a bad cowl seal?

In a humid climate a puddle on the ground can be normal. If it smells like coolant...well then you know the drill.

Dang, that seems like an awful of rocking when moving it. I didnt see axle lCA movement, so the frame end might be the cause. The other thing as it rocks is the watching the sway bar links. The uppers on my 99's were shot and clunked pretty bad every time you hit a bump. Might unbolt one and see...

My 99 with a new 195 thermostat ran just above where the needle in your pic is. So I would not be 100% sure its has a 185 in there. What does the thermo gun say at the thermostat housing temp wise.

The angle of the front U joint is pretty steep compared to the diff ends angle. Use washers and longer bolts if needed. Id also anti seize the bolts before putting them back in. They are " top of the list" for rusting and taking out the frame inserts especially if you really are in Fl.

You sure the bleeders arent plugged up with rust or muddy crap?. I've had that happen more than once. Especially the inner orifice which can get rusty crusty.

It would be wise to do some tests like checking the cables that can go belly up and look fine. Check battery volts when you turn the key or the lights on and see how much drop you get. Do you get lights if the switch is turned on of just a dim twinkle? Next thought would be, considering todays...

How you guys getting a % of TPS voltage? It was always .6ish at idle and up to 5V at WFO with a DVM.
