My air will only blow through defrost. I found the solenoid/Actuator that changes the direction. I can manually move the arm and make it change from defrost to front facing vents. But it slowly starts to change back over a period of 1 minute or so. So I assumed there was a vaccum leak. I found nothing on the inside. So I went under the hood. At the T where it goes into fireball I found this end just hanging there. Can someone help me with where it should go?

Vacuum produced by an engine varies under loading and RPM conditions. The vacuum reservoir keeps a supply of "vacuum" air to help operate vacuum accessories when the engine does not supply a sufficient amount.
