Will a Smittybilt roof rack fit my 96 TJ?

Hey everyone.
Recently got a 1996 Tj
Smittybilt roof racks claim for up to 1995 and from 1997-beyond. Any advice for the 1996. Roof racks seem to miss this year model? Or is it compatible.

The TJ was produced from 97-06. If you have a 96 that may be an export thing as there is no such thing as a 96 TJ in the United States.

You may have a YJ. Post some photos of your Wrangler so we know what you have.

I just one installed yesterday and looks great and fits good.This is the Cargo Master safari roof rack. I have been looking for way to put a tent on top for camping

It's a 1997 tj with a 1996 build date.
Jeep was producing 1997 Tj's midway thru 1996.
