I would like to tackle scooting the perches back as far as the track bar mount will let me. Doing this in combination to getting a new gas tank skid with more clearance will make things line up a little better. Here is where she sits now at full bump,

If I can move them back an inch or so, the bumps would line up better. Is there any tricks or things to look out for when doing this? Is it worth doing? Will it raise the rear higher?

Yeah, I can already see that the TB frame side bolt/nut is going to interfere with the spring, so maybe rotating the lower perches is a better idea?

If you just rotate it to flat, you will get some raise out of the mounts. If you cut the U off flush to the round part of the perch, that is net zero rise and lets it got back further. If you don't want to cut the U off, you can flip the perches side for side and put the longer part of the U at the front. That will net some small amount of rise.

The best thing to do is get some dimensions that you can check that do not involve the perches. Axle to ground, frame to ground, frame to axle. Cut the perches loose, clean them up, put them back in with the different configurations to check. Put the springs in, lift the rig by the axle and see how much increase you get and if that works. You do not have to weld or tack them in place to do this, we do it all the time that way.
