Power hungry 4.0: how to give it what it wants?

With the small bit of work I've done to my engine it has netted me decent 1/8th mile times
I coulda gotten a high 9/low 10 if I didn't fall asleep and run the Daytona 500 at the light 🤣 This was my 1st time on the strip on a blown dana 44 so my times should get better once I can fully send it after I'm done doing my ford 9" and triangulated midarmšŸ¤™šŸ¼

If this means anything I'm able to keep up with a tuned/built trans v8 Silverado with 4.10s,The 1st run there I was hawking up to him fast after spinning 1st 2nd and part of 3rd (went too early in the water box and didn't warm my tires up at all) and I ran an 11.45 with a near perfect reaction time
Nearing the end of the 1/8th I was a jeep away from him

Perfectly reasonable request. Just need a huge hemi
(I wanna keep it true) I want a pissed off AMC I6 stroker with a hogging cam and possibly a turbo,I wanna pop the hood and show yet another scat pack that they just got gapped by a 6 cylinder tractor enginešŸ˜
Next I6 I'd want is a Mercedes om606

i want to make my tj more peppy and i know this is gonna send some of yall into a frenzy but entertain me here please.

i don’t want to regear yet as my 3.73s are great for my use case, and i want to keep the 4.0 platform. im a bit of a purist and one of the reasons the TJ is so infamous/why i love it is due to the killer engine so i would feel wrong changing that.

who has made a name for themselves making these four liters make some output. like newcomer racing

yes the platform isn’t good to build off of, but i want to know who said watch me and made it work anyways.

i understand it’s not an effective platform for making power but im willing to spend MY money on MY jeep to do it:)

There’s a place in Houston that builds a 4.0 that puts out over 600 hp.

If you’re a purist though I don’t know if that’s the route you want to take. Maybe your kidding yourself because a purist would be be all about OME.

A tune would give you more pep along with a larger breather tube and a good filter. The next thing would be a larger bore throttle body. You could also swap intakes to get better airflow and mixture. Headers gain a few horsepower as well. You could have your heads shaved and port and polish the passage ways to get even more gain. Changing fuel injectors could also help you out.

But if you’re really a purist then just run the highest octane fuel you can buy.

Let me know of the place when you can! I'm gonna need a machinist that knows about these engines so I can have my block machined at some point ! I'll be doing the rest of the buildingšŸ¤™šŸ¼

Were your txting? Maybe daydreaming about some tacos? I've had farts with quicker reactions. 9-10 is a bit optimistic, just look at that 60 mph trap (that would have to be right at 70 to split 9-10 on an 1/8), but a flat 11 is likely with a good reaction time.
