OK another area we need to go check out...
@JMT and other eastern WA or ID members can you guys go scout it out?
I’ve been on that trail. It’s called Compressor. It’s in Mullen, ID. At minute 24:57, that tree on the right is where I bent over my front fender. That spot is the Waterfall they refer to. We can do this trail for sure. Happy to go.
Last time I went the end of the trail was supposed to be an easy way out, but the BLM had graded it at a steep angle that required you to be very off camber on dirt with no winch points within 120feet and a drop off right to your side and behind you. One guy took the risk on 37’s and made it. He winched the others up by attaching to the roll bars. This was with North Idaho TrailBlazers.
OK cool...
The main trails over here are Compressor, Denver Creek, and Roller Coaster. If people want to come over I’m happy to lead these runs.
Additionally, NITB is currently starting talks about establishing an Off-road area in N Idaho. This looks like it could develop into something good.
How long to run all those trails? One day or two? Or longer? And are there places to camp? I know ID is a lot better about public lands. How tough would you rate the trails?
I think you could run all those trails in 1-2 days. If you didn't have any problems you could do it in 1 day. It would be smarter to do in 2 days. There's some playing around you can do on these trails too. You can do all of them in both directions (up, down) which would add some time.
Day 1:
Denver Creek (2 hours) (33's and lockers)
Roller Coaster (2-3 hours) (any tire size, there are bypasses for all obstacles)
Day 2
Compressor (2-3 hours) (35's and lockers, no bypasses for the major obstacle)
I'm sure there is camping.
These trails are all off of I-90 near Pinehurst and Mullan.
If nothing else I think there is a camp ground at Silver Mountain.I'm sure there is camping.

Didn't we just watch that late model Bronco do that trail? Did that thing have 35s on it? If so.... damn!!I think you could run all those trails in 1-2 days. We're hoping to have our truck camper by summer, I'd be down for a couple day trip over to camp and wheel.
Not that we're quite to the planning stage but I'm out of the state and unavailable June 26-July 5. Other than that I can make anything work really during the summer at this point.
And we still have trails to hit in Naches and…Rimrock
Yes, please!
