2004 Wrangler LJ Unlimited- have this relay setup on the front passenger side of the engine compartment that I am not sure what it’s function is for. There is another 3 lead socket on the driver side as well. I t doesn’t have any power running to it and it doesn’t affect the headlight or fog light circuit either. Any suggestions out there?

It had the original halogen type headlight which I replaced with LEDs using the original sockets. These sockets don’t have any power with the headlights on and they weren’t part of the fog lights either!

If you can find which wire comes off terminal 87 just follow it, that will be your load. The wire attached to terminal 30 will go to battery power hopefully through a fuse. (Unless it is a 5 pin relay wired for normally on)

Do they power with the headlights and the ignition on? When I did my harness, I used an ignition-switch source for my relays.

The reason for the headlight wiring upgrade is so that all of the current for headlights is not running through your headlight switch stalk. Just enough to power relays.
