Toyota Guy New to Jeeps

Hey all,

I just bought a ‘99 TJ Sahara with 111,000 miles. It’s got the 4.0, 5 Speed, and 4WD. Already has a 3 inch lift. Looking forward to making it into my reliable daily and weekend toy to keep the miles off of my ‘02 Tundra with only 95k on the clock.

The TJ definitely needs some work but I’m a car guy, have access to a lift, and look forward to a mild restoration.

I’m located in KC for any other locals.

Welcome ! Have fun building this into what works for you ! The articulation is 100% better , (even with the swaybar connected) on a TJ over a IFS Toyota .

I wish I had land like that too. That’s actually where I bought it from, BFE Kansas. I live near KC, in the suburbs.

Hey Man! Same as you, here (Toyota bro, new to jeeps). I have a 2010 Tundra and just built my 2000 TJ. Looking forward to learning and jeepin'!
